Who we are

Judith F. Russell, PhD, became interested in learning about the family she had married into in when….  Her curiosity soon became a passion as she traced the family’s lineage to before Charlemagne.  As co-founder of Ask Granny she has helped others begin to capture basic information about earlier generations. Now she is sharing all she has learned so that others can experience the same satisfaction in untangling the history of their family’s story.

Judy’s daughter Kelly Russell Caffarelli has followed along her research journey and is a member of several hereditary societies. Together, they have co-authored articles….
